The announcement solidifies the 27-year-old’s future with the Brazilians, a
move he described as an easy decision. “There is no other place where I
wanted to be besides Mamelodi Sundowns, this is my home,” Mkhulise stated on
the club’s official X account. “I love the team, I support the team and I
feel the love of the supporters, the chairman, the president and everyone.
It was a no-brainer for me.”
Mkhulise was part of the starting line-up on Tuesday night,
contributing to Sundowns’ crucial 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United, which
extended their lead at the top of the Betway Premiership table. His renewed
commitment adds stability to the squad as they continue their campaign on
multiple fronts.
