TS Galaxy Secure Tshepo Kakora Despite FIFA Registration Ban

Exciting winger Tshepo Kakora has completed a move from Magesi FC to TS
Galaxy, following a reported dispute with his former club.

The 27-year-old Northern Cape native, who played a key role in Magesi’s
memorable Carling Knockout final victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in November
2024, is seen as the ideal replacement for Puso Dithejane, who recently
joined MLS side Chicago Fire.

However, Kakora’s debut for the Rockets has been delayed due to a
FIFA-imposed registration ban. The sanction stems from the club’s failure to
pay Liberian forward Jegbay Morris $125,000 (approximately R2 million) after
a breach of contract dispute, despite TS Galaxy’s argument that Morris could
not secure a work permit.

Club chairman Tim Sukazi remains confident the matter will be resolved soon,
stating that once the payment is made, FIFA will lift the ban and allow the
club to register new players. Sukazi has also indicated that further
signings are planned during the January transfer window.

For now, Kakora’s switch to Mpumalanga is confirmed—but his first appearance
in TS Galaxy colours will have to wait.
