Gallants Close to Signing Former Chiefs Youth Player Nkuna

Marumo Gallants are reportedly on the verge of securing midfielder

Halalisani Nkuna, a former Bakoena Chiefs academy player. Sources indicate
the Bushbuckridge-born player has been training with the
Bloemfontein-based PSL club for nearly two weeks and has made a strong
impression.

“The boy is a marvel to watch. He has composure on the ball and his
distribution is top class,” a source revealed. “It’s believed he has
already signed for Gallants.”

The player’s career path includes spells at Bakoena Chiefs and Crystal
Lake FC. However, the club has yet to officially confirm the deal. When
contacted by PSLSA, Marumo Gallants’ media officer, Sello Nduna, stated
that he could neither confirm nor deny the signing at this stage.

“No, for so far I’ve not received any [news]. I know we are looking at
players but we haven’t announced anything yet,” Nduna said. “It’s
difficult for me to deny or confirm, but I know there are a couple of
players [on trial]. We have not signed anybody that I can confirm.”
