Orlando Pirates Confirm Sinoxolo Kwayiba’s Permanent Return to Chippa United

Orlando Pirates have officially announced the permanent departure of
midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba, who returns to Chippa United after a brief and
disrupted spell with the Soweto club.

In a statement, the Buccaneers thanked the 25-year-old for his service,
concluding a chapter that fell short of initial expectations. Kwayiba
arrived from Chippa United amid considerable promise, having earned a
call-up to Bafana Bafana while in the Eastern Cape.

However, under head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, he struggled to break into the
side, making only four substitute appearances across all competitions. Last
November, sources close to the player attributed his limited involvement to
injury and emphasized he remained part of the club’s plans, dismissing
rumors of a loan move.

With his return to Chippa now confirmed, Kwayiba will look to reignite his
career back at the club where he first made his name.
