Sundowns Eye Top Spot in Premiership Clash with Siwelele

Mamelodi Sundowns will aim to reclaim first place in the Betway
Premiership when they visit Siwelele FC at the Dr Molemela Stadium on
Wednesday evening.

The Brazilians head into the domestic fixture after a demanding continental
outing, having drawn 0-0 with MC Alger in the CAF Champions League this past
weekend. Manager Miguel Cardoso’s side currently sits second, overtaken by
Orlando Pirates after their weekend victory. However, a win against Siwelele
would propel Sundowns back to the summit of the league table.

Their hosts, Siwelele FC, are in need of a positive result to lift them from
the lower reaches of the standings. Following a goalless draw with
bottom-side Chippa United, Lehlohonolo Seema’s team finds itself in 13th
position and will be eager to cause an upset and secure vital points.
