Sede Junior Dion is enjoying a spectacular resurgence at Golden Arrows,
with his red-hot form at the start of the season once again attracting
attention from across the Premier Soccer League.
The Ivorian striker, who joined Abafana Bes’thende from AmaZulu in July, has
become the focal point of Manqoba Mngqithi’s attack. With seven Premiership
goals and one assist in the Carling Knockout, his eight goal contributions
in 14 matches have made him the current top scorer in the league.
According to insiders, this consistent output has quietly put several
top-flight clubs on alert. Those monitoring his situation attribute the
renewed interest to his sharpened work rate, growing confidence, and the
clear, defined role he has been given within Mngqithi’s structured system at
Arrows.
While no formal offers have been made, the sentiment is that if Dion
continues his scoring form, demand for his services will intensify as the
season progresses.
“Dion is doing very well at the moment… He’s never been a bad player –
with him, it often comes down to the coach and the environment,” a source
told the Siya crew. “He’s currently the league’s top goal scorer, and there
are clubs already showing interest. If he continues like this, the demand
will only grow.”
This is not the first time the 27-year-old has turned heads; he was
previously monitored by clubs like Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC
during his time at Marumo Gallants. Now, with his career peaking once again,
the conversation around his future is resurfacing.
