Sukazi Hails TS Galaxy’s “University of Football” as Bafana Calls Prove Its Worth

TS Galaxy Chairman Tim Sukazi has expressed immense pride in the club’s
development model following the inclusion of defenders Puso Dithejane and
Khulumani Ndamane in the latest Bafana Bafana preliminary squad.

The call-ups for the duo, both academy graduates from Kaizer Chiefs who
joined Galaxy for first-team opportunities, validate the club’s
self-proclaimed status as a “university of football.”

“I once declared that TS Galaxy is the university of football,” Sukazi
stated exclusively to PSLSA. “You know what universities do—they educate to
the highest possible standards and thereafter produce professionals. We are
no different. We’ve shown our capability in developing and producing
exceptional talent, so I’m not surprised by their selection.”

Sukazi highlighted the players’ consistent performances as the direct reason
for their national team recognition. “They’ve been playing fantastically
well at the highest level. Puso has been delivering, and Ndamane has been
our back-stopper. These young men have done fantastically well.”

The chairman also pointed to the success of former players like Kamogelo
Sebelebele (now at Orlando Pirates) and Samukelo Kabini (now at Molde) as
further evidence of the club’s effective talent pipeline. He acknowledged
the challenge of remaining competitive while continually selling top talent
to bigger clubs, calling it a “difficult balancing act.”

“As they do well, we as project TS Galaxy get more motivated to do what we
do best: finding talent, giving it opportunity, and developing it properly,”
Sukazi explained. “It’s not an excuse that we’ve lost players; we still have
to deliver and be competitive. I’m glad that, through the grace of God, so
far so good.”

The inclusion of Dithejane and Ndamane is a significant endorsement of TS
Galaxy’s strategy, proving their ability to nurture players for the highest
levels of the game.
