Mamelodi Sundowns will look to climb back to the top of the Premiership
table when they visit Golden Arrows this afternoon.
Miguel Cardoso’s charges come into the clash in fine form after extending
their unbeaten league run over the weekend with a 3-1 comeback win against
Durban City. The Brazilians currently sit second on the log but know that
three points will send them back to the summit.
Today’s encounter also reunites Sundowns with their former coach Manqoba
Mngqithi, now at the helm of Arrows, who managed the Tshwane giants during
the early stages of last season.
Arrows, meanwhile, have endured a stuttering start to the campaign,
winning just two of their opening seven matches. They head into this
fixture on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United, conceded
in the dying stages of the game.
