Another Galaxy Player Exiled from the First Team?

Following the exit of Sibusiso Vilakazi from TS Galaxy, the Siya crew has been informed that young midfielder Aphelele Teto was told to train with the club’s DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team after an incident in the dressing room.

The Siya crew confirmed that Vilakazi had mutually parted ways with TS Galaxy after an incident with head coach Sead Ramovic in the goalless draw with Swallows FC a few weeks ago, which led to him being told to train with the DDC team before his exit was finalised between the club and his representatives.

“There was an incident in the dressing room during the game against Swallows FC. He was told that he won’t play again,” a source told the Siya crew.

A second source confirmed that Teto has not been part of the first team since the incident. The young midfielder has not featured in the last three matches against Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City.

“After the Swallows game, there is a lot that happened. It happened with Aphelele and it’s unfortunate for him,” a source told the Siya crew.

Attempts to contact TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi for comment on Thursday and Friday morning, proved futile.
