Nedbank Cup 2025/26: Full Club List Confirmed Ahead of Last 32 Draw

The Premier Soccer League has announced the 31 clubs set to compete in
this season’s Nedbank Cup, with one remaining spot still to be finalized
from the SAFA Western Cape division.

The competition will follow its traditional format, with all 16 Betway
Premiership clubs joined by 8 sides from the Motsepe Foundation Championship
and 8 from SAFA’s regional amateur divisions.

The draw for the last 32 will take place on Thursday evening in Sandton,
Johannesburg.

Confirmed Clubs

Premier Division (16):
AmaZulu, Chippa United, Durban City, Kaizer Chiefs, Lamontville Golden
Arrows, Magesi FC, Mamelodi Sundowns, Marumo Gallants, Orbit College,
Orlando Pirates, Polokwane City, Richards Bay, Sekhukhune United, Siwelele
FC, Stellenbosch FC, TS Galaxy

National First Division (8):
Casric Stars, Gomora United, Highbury FC, Hungry Lions, Lerumo Lions,
Milford FC, University of Pretoria, Upington FC

SAFA Divisions (7 of 8 confirmed):
FC Cardinals (Free State), SSU M17 FC (Gauteng), Mkhambathi (KZN), Tshakhuma
Tsha Madzivhandila (Limpopo), Luthuli Brigades FC (Mpumalanga), Jacksa
Spears (Northern Cape), (Western Cape representative to be confirmed)

Draw Procedure

  • All 32 club names will be placed into a single pot.
  • There will be no seeding.
  • For each tie, the first ball drawn will be the home team, and the
    second ball drawn will be the away team.
  • This process will continue until all 16 fixtures are finalized.

The draw promises the usual excitement and potential for David-vs-Goliath
encounters as clubs from all levels of South African football enter the hunt
for the coveted trophy.
