The Premier Soccer League has announced the 31 clubs set to compete in
this season’s Nedbank Cup, with one remaining spot still to be finalized
from the SAFA Western Cape division.
The competition will follow its traditional format, with all 16 Betway
Premiership clubs joined by 8 sides from the Motsepe Foundation Championship
and 8 from SAFA’s regional amateur divisions.
The draw for the last 32 will take place on Thursday evening in Sandton,
Johannesburg.

Draw Procedure
- All 32 club names will be placed into a single pot.
- There will be no seeding.
- For each tie, the first ball drawn will be the home team, and the
second ball drawn will be the away team. - This process will continue until all 16 fixtures are finalized.
The draw promises the usual excitement and potential for David-vs-Goliath
encounters as clubs from all levels of South African football enter the hunt
for the coveted trophy.
