Kobamelo Kodisang is poised for an early return to Mamelodi Sundowns
following the mutual termination of his loan spell at Portuguese club Aves
SAD.
According to a report from Portuguese outlet Jogo, the agreement to end the
26-year-old winger’s stay has been finalized and is expected to be
officially confirmed soon. The move comes as part of Aves’ squad
restructuring amid a challenging season; the club remains winless and is
seeking changes during the winter transfer window.
Kodisang moved to Portugal in search of consistent playing time but found it
scarce, making only five appearances across all competitions and scoring
once. With opportunities limited, the South African international will now
head back to Chloorkop.
His imminent return follows a similar pattern for Sundowns, coming shortly
after the news that Argentine playmaker Matías Esquivel will also rejoin the
club following the termination of his loan at Greek side A.E. Kifisia.
