Focus Over Noise: TS Galaxy’s Ndamane Stays Grounded Amid Sundowns Links

TS Galaxy defender Khulumani Ndamane is determined to keep his focus on
the pitch, despite growing speculation linking him with a high-profile move
to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 21-year-old, who has been one of the most closely watched young
defenders in the Betway Premiership, is at the center of intensified
transfer talks. Following a breakout season with 27 league appearances, his
composure and physical presence have made him a prime target.

The Siya crew initially reported in July that Sundowns were leading the
race for his signature, with discussions even including a potential
loan-back option. TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi later confirmed these
negotiations in August, acknowledging the club’s model of developing and
selling talent.

“For us, it’s a reality of the game,” Sukazi’s stance implied, pointing to
recent sales of players like Kamogelo Sebelebele and Lebone Seema to Orlando
Pirates as evidence of their sustainable cycle of talent development and
replacement.

Amid the boardroom discussions, Ndamane is adopting a disciplined approach.
He admits the noise can be distracting but insists on prioritizing his
performances.

“There are times when it becomes disturbing because if you focus on that too
much, you might end up forgetting about your duties on the field of play,”
Ndamane said. “I just tell myself that everything that is happening around
me is because of the hard work that I’ve put in.”

He emphasizes patience and faith in the process, adding, “People will always
talk, but everything happens in its own time. I just have to focus on
playing football and if it is meant to happen, it will happen at the right
time.”

His focus is well-placed at a club known for being a springboard for talent.
With a reliable pipeline that has already produced new performers like
Seluleko Mahlambi and Lentswe Motaung, TS Galaxy is well-prepared for any
potential departure, ensuring the club’s progress continues unabated.
