Kaizer Chiefs Bolster Squad for Congo Trip with Maboe and Mayo

Kaizer Chiefs have strengthened their travelling squad for the crucial
CAF Confederation Cup clash against AS Simba with the notable additions of
Lebohang Maboe and Khanyisa Mayo.

The Soweto giants face the DR Congo outfit in the first leg of the second
preliminary round this Saturday, and the inclusion of the duo provides a
significant boost. Mayo, who was not registered for the first-round victory
over Angola’s Kabuscorp, has been added to the squad, with Flavio da Silva
making way.

Furthermore, midfielder Lebohang Maboe, who has yet to make his official
debut for Amakhosi since signing, is now in contention and could earn his
first appearance for the club in this high-stakes continental fixture.
