Broos Calls Up Moloisane to Replace Suspended Mbokazi for Rwanda Clash

Following a goalless draw against Zimbabwe in a 2026 FIFA World Cup
qualifier, the South African national team, Bafana Bafana, has been forced
to make a change to its squad.

Defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi will miss the upcoming crucial match after being
sent off in the latter stages of Friday’s game in Durban. To fill the
vacancy, coach Hugo Broos has called upon Stellenbosch FC’s Thabo Moloisane,
who was initially named in the provisional squad.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) confirmed the swift change,
announcing that Moloisane arrived at the team’s camp in Mbombela shortly
after the squad landed from Durban on Saturday afternoon.

Bafana Bafana now turn their attention to their final World Cup qualifier,
where they will host Rwanda at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.
