Eymael Urges Chilli Boys to Rise Against League Leaders

Chippa United Face Tough Test Against League Leaders Sekhukhune United

Chippa United will have a daunting task tonight when they travel to face
Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Chilli Boys sit at the bottom of the Betway Premiership table in 16th
place, while Sekhukhune are enjoying a strong start to the season at the
summit, having claimed notable scalps against the likes of Orlando Pirates
and Kaizer Chiefs.

Head coach Luc Eymael acknowledges the challenge ahead but insists his
squad is motivated to fight. Speaking exclusively to the Siya Crew, Eymael
said:

“We’re working on putting a plan in place because we dropped a point
against Polokwane City. It should have been a well-deserved point, but
unfortunately, we lost it. That’s part of our room for improvement. Now we
face Sekhukhune, who are number one in the league, a team that has beaten
Pirates and Chiefs. It’s going to be a tough challenge, but we’re
preparing as well as possible. The players are motivated, and we’ll do our
best against them. The aim is not to return from this trip to Polokwane
empty-handed.”

Chippa’s task is made even harder by Sekhukhune’s consistency at both ends
of the pitch. Coach Eric Tinkler’s side has proven difficult to break down
while remaining deadly on the counter-attack.

For the Eastern Cape outfit, tonight’s fixture is a stern test but also an
opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone. The squad’s morale has
been boosted by Eymael’s support and the chance to measure themselves
against the league’s best.

Kick-off: 19:30 at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
